Sentinel got its start in a garage back in 2003. Our founder was a locksmith and a competitive shooter who just got tired of watching people choose between flimsy boxes with fancy logos or industrial vaults priced like a second mortgage. He figured there had to be a middle ground: serious steel, real fire protection, and locks that actually work without requiring a payment plan.

Twenty years later, we’re still that company. We test our safes the way you’d actually use them—pried at with crowbars, dropped, heated, flooded. Not because certification boards require it, but because we know what “secure” means when it’s 3 AM and glass is breaking downstairs. Every Sentinel safe ships with the same question answered: will this do its job when the moment comes?. If we can’t say yes, it doesn’t leave the facility.

We don’t sponsor influencers or run lifestyle campaigns. We build safes. Heavy ones, with thick steel and redundant locking bolts and fireproofing that actually holds up past the first fifteen minutes. The kind of thing you bolt to your floor and forget about until you need it—and then you’re grateful it’s there.
